Internet mentors

Hi! Thanks for stopping by. Hm... I've started a blog and this is my first post! Yay. I have sooo much to learn. All of these twiddly tabs.  Well for now I'll keep things short and simple.

There are so many people on the internet who I look to for advice, opinions, news and entertainment. Here are a few which I would love to recommend to you :)

- Roger Ebert: The most amazing film critic! His posts are incredibly sincere and informative as well as entertaining (talk about a rare combination ^^). He's the first film critic to have won a Pulitzer Prize so there you go.

- Dame Athene Donald: a distinguished British physicist who is currently at Cambridge, UK. A generous and witty mentor/ role model through her blog for girls (and boys I suppose) aspiring to go into science or education.

- Ellen Degeneres! What is there to say? Alas, her show doesn't air in the part of Europe where I live so I have to resort to youtube clips.

- Claire Gordon: Haha. A gifted writer/ Huffington post blogger. I still haven't figured her out but she has very original  views on current affairs, especially the use of technology in our everyday lives.

Please check out these sites; they are seriously worth the time! I definitely haven't done these amazing people justice in my brief waffly descriptions.

Well there you go. Bye for now!  xx
